Marco Toso Borella was born on October 3, 1962 in Murano, where today he still lives and works, carrying on his family’s tradition as a glass painter and engraver.

Marco has participated in international art exhibitions and shows. His style of painting seems to “re-elaborate” metaphysics; presenting a double interpretation in each of his pieces. One is purely external, visibly free from any hidden meaning; the other is aimed at symbolic representation in precise messages made up not only of feelings, concepts and sensations, but of articulated speculations and visions concerning the reality around us.
